TC80T Airbrush Compressor Kit With BARTSHARP 116 Airbrush - Perfect For Cake Decoration
We have put this special package together for those wishing to use an airbrush to decorate cakes.
The selected compressor is powerful yet simple to use and will provide you with clean uncontaminated air as it has an oil free piston system.
We have coupled this compressor with our BARTSHARP Airbrush 116 as it incorporates our latest larger needle, nozzle and nozzle cap design. These larger sized needles and nozzles will help you avoid the common issues of clogging associated whilst using the smaller conventional sized needles and nozzles.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 116 is fitted with a 0.5mm needle set up but also has the ability to take up to a 0.8mm needle and nozzle.
This complete kit includes: TC80T Airbrush Compressor, 1.8m Air Hose, BARTSHARP Airbrush 116, Cleaning Pot / Airbrush Holder, Cleaning Needles Set & Cleaning Brushes Set. If purchased seprately these items would cost in excess of £127.00
TC80T Airbrush Compressor
The 3 litre air tank provides a pulse free air supply. It also has a pressure regulator / water trap which is fully adjustable, letting you precisely set the air pressure whilst also removing water vapour from your air supply. The compressor operates under 50db and has a 1/5th horse power motor (most similar units have a smaller less powerful 1/6th horse power motor).
The unit is also auto start / auto stop which means that it will automatically start pumping, when the pressure in the tank falls below a certain level, and automatically stop pumping when the air pressure level, in the tank, reaches the preset level. These levels are set by adjusting the desired pressure on the pressure regulator. The TC80T produces 23-25 litres of air per minute.
The TC80T has a 1.8m electric cable with UK three pin plug.
Dimensions: 310mm x 135mm x 310mm
The BARTSHARP Pistol Grip 116 Airbrush
We have taken all that we have learned from recent years and teamed up with a top manufacturer, highly endorsed by international airbrush artist Chuck Bauman, to create our own brand and extensive range of airbrushes.
The BARTSHARP Pistol Grip 116 Airbrush is side gravity feed with a single variable action.
Many of our customers prefer to not to have their view down the airbrush blocked by a top mounted paint cup. The side feed paint cups can also be rotated on their feed arm so that the airbrush could even by used upside down with no paint spillage!
It comes fitted with a quality 0.5mm needle, nozzle and nozzle cap. This set up is for general purpose spraying and will allow you to create a hair line spray width up to approximately 28mm. However it can also be fitted with a 0.3mm needle/nozzle set for creation of finer lines or detail. Alternatively it can also be fitted with a 0.8mm neelde/nozzle set which is ideally suited to those wishing to spray slightly thicker mediums, such as with cake decoration. This larger size set up optimises a smoother paint flow and will help to prevent clogging and splatter associated with the use of smaller needle and nozzle.
The pistol grip creates a very natural holding position and reduces hand fatigue which is sometimes associated with pen style airbrushes. This makes it a fantastic airbrush for those new to the hobby as it is so easy to handle and operate.
Simply pull back on the trigger to release air and pull further back to release paint.
Variable action means that the further the trigger is pulled back the more paint is released.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 116 incorporates a new nozzle and nozzle cap design which has been specifically developed to handle slightly thicker mediums.
These new nozzles are a complete change from the standard design making nozzle change and airbrush cleaning a breeze as they simply push into the airbrush body cap and are held in place by screwing the nozzle cap down. The new design nozzles also have a Teflon bush which prevents paint from escaping from behind the nozzle and is also impervious to highly aggresive paints.
The below image shows how the new design nozzle is much larger compared to a standard airbrush nozzle.
The below image shows how the new design nozzle cap (right) which allows the nozzle to push fit into place and is much larger when compared to a standard airbrush nozzle cap (left).
As you would expect we have all of the spare that you will need icluding:
0.3mm needles, nozzles & nozzle caps
0.5mm needles, nozzles & nozzle caps
0.8mm needles, nozzles & nozzle caps
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 116 comes with two interchangeable side feed paint cups: 7cc and 10cc (with push fit lids)
The air inlet is 1/8BSP which is the most regularly used size for airbrushes and air hoses alike. (BSP means British Standard Pipe and describes the thread pitch whilst 1/8 is equal to 9.35mm (approx)
We have a limited number of these particular airbrushes.
